Mark Hooker was born in Longview, Texas and graduated from Longview High School before attending Kilgore College, and graduating
from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1980. He then pursued a career in acting in New York City where he appeared on television
on ALL MY CHILDREN, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, THE GUIDING LIGHT, ANOTHER WORLD, AS THE WORLD TURNS, TEXAS and LOVING.
On stage, he has appeared in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, PIPPIN, DIE MOMMIE DIE, SHANGHAI MOON,
YOU SHOULD BE SO LUCKY, and more. Mark has had fur babies all of his adult life, and it brings him great joy to work with
doggies and owners so they can live their best life.
Mark is currently using the Doggy Dan method of dog training. Fear free. Gentle. My goal is to help every dog be a good citizen and to
make doggie parents proud. We start with the basic commands sit, lay down, stay, come, and walk with me. From there, the sky is the limit…
These classes are about learning commands and being a good citizen… I don’t teach doggie tricks. But I do plan on teaching my new
yellow lab puppy how to do yoga with me.
